Excellent for voicemail. In terms of price, features, and quality, FreedomVoice seems to have a specialty in automation.  They can take scripted voicemail where the customer responds to questions, they cost much less than competitors when being used as a mailbox, and they have unlimited mailbox space.  They can also send out recorded messages to all their extensions.

Call recording. As far as I know, none of those reviewed so far except Freedom Voice allows you to record every single call made to your system.  It's an expensive service, starting at fifty dollars and going up for a large volume of recordings, but a useful enough service that it might still be worth getting for some businesses.

Nickel and dime. While FreedomVoice has most features available, the more advanced ones are bought individually, rather than as a large package like with most of the competitors.  Internet access to your account alone is an additional ten bucks.  While the upside is that you don't pay for what you don't use, the downside is that FreedomVoice's low prices aren't as low as they appear unless you want the bare-bones service.  With FreedomVoice, you need to go down their list of services and tally up services in order to get your final fee.

Double leg billing. FreedomVoice again focuses on low base prices that become higher under close examination.  They charge both for the call the customer places to your line with them, and for their connecting the call to you.  This effectively doubles the price of minutes that you buy from them, making their otherwise low prices significantly higher than the competition.  Since this charge does not apply for voicemail, FreedomVoice is still an excellent voicemail option.

Talktext. Instead of using your phone to listen to your messages, you can use your phone to read your messages.  FreedomVoice uses voice recognition software to convert voicemail into text files, then sends it to your phone along with the voicemail.  This would be useful if you're in a loud area but want to get your voicemail, or if you read faster than people talk and you're in a hurry.  Also helpful to get voicemail in meetings without stopping a conversation, but not so good when trying to get your messages while you're in the car.
